When asked to describe Janine Logue, the terms most commonly used by her "friends" were computer geek, word smith, nerd girl, grammar police and AP styler. Not very creative, well except for AP styler, that one is pretty good.
Janine has spent most of her life writing, both for hobby and professionally. While working in the IT industry, Janine wrote ad copy, contracts, website copy and marketing materials. Later, Janine became a newspaper reporter and then a newspaper editor.
As the newspaper industry started to change, Janine turned to website and SEO writing. That path eventually led her back into the corporate environment, where she began a career in marketing.
It has been a lifelong dream of Janine's to write and publish novels.
The inspiration for the Spade Worldwide series of novels and serial books came a distinct lack of strong female characters in romance. Janine felt like the male domination of sexually inexperienced women was over played. There didn't seem to be many dominating women in romance.
Janine builds female characters who are financially independent and embrace their sexuality.
